Strangely enough, the Spanish beat them to it.

I have read the ****ing thread, thank you.

And your ****ing posts too, as lacking in any ****ing substance as they were.

Let me know when you get to a ****ing point, or post a ****ing fact, rather than a ****ing opinion.

Have a ****ing nice day !
You're right, that was very worth while.
No, I did not steal that from somebody on Something Awful.

Go and google it your ****ing self.

On the other hand you could dig out a textbook on American history (specifically one dealing with that phase of imperialist aggression that included grabbing Cuba and Puerto Rico and 'liberating' the Philippines from the Spanish and then the Filipinos) and read about the concentration camps in Cuba.

This has been a public information service, courtesy of several articles in 'History Today' and chatting to some Filipino friends in Manchester about 30 years ago.

So glad you appreciated the reference to John Cooper Clarke.

Much more edifying than a reference to a Michael Bay film.

For lack of effort, your posts containing little to nothing on the record of Attlee's government win the prize. Odd, in a thread you start on Attlee...

The proper spelling of Evil Knevil is "Evel Knievel".

                            Oh you poor predictable dear.

No, I didn't. I was reading an old Guardian article and then realized what you were referring to.

                            How awful for you.

Why do people talk about concentration camps like they're a bad thing?
                              John Brown did nothing wrong.

Because they confuse them with extermination camps, possibly. On the other hand, a badly run concentration camp can be unpleasant too, just not quite as deadly.
