I believe that Jesus raised Lazuras from the dead and was Himself raised.

Catatonic states. Group hysteria. Post hypnotic suggestion.

And I believe that some people have had illnesses cured. You may call it whatever you wish.

In the case of the young man with ichthyosis, I call it hypnosis as a part of treatment. Hypnosis and induced trances as practised by Hebrew holy men (the Nabis) and in other 'mystery' religions as part of the initiation rituals. As I said, we know from Egyptian papyri that such things were practised even before the supposed divinely decreed exodus of the Hebrews from the Egyptian Empire.

Praise God! He has created such wonders in the human brain that we can discover things and go back and find things that we have already discovered, sometimes through what is called serendipity, though I doubt it is merely some accident.

Praise humanity's ability for inquiry. And 'faith' in empirical testing.

And why isn't this increase in knowledge done with God working in the background? It seems to me God is at working restoring the Earth as the redemption of Earth is a process not a one time event.

Our understanding of God may have evolved, but God has always remained the same. In addition, God reveals himself to us based on what we are ready for - Ancient Near Eastern Jews had one set of understandings. A God who came and stressed peace and love would have been seen as weak without establishing that He was also just (ie, only Nixon could go to China)

Which 'miracles' did you have in mind?

I believe I stated them - healings, raisings from the dead, turning water into wine, divine protection (namely of Shadrach, Meshack, and Abednego). You may try as you might to "explain" healings and raisings from the dead, as modernist minds attempt to do. However, I'm not sure if you think you'll get anywhere. As I'd imagine that myself, Jon Miller, Kid, and Elok find your explainations lacking.
