The real question is why do so many Libyan rebels seem to love wearing baseball caps with the New York Yankees emblem on them? Do people even play baseball in Libya? I suppose it's possible since there were US bases there up until the 1960's but it doesn't seem likely.

Why? Courts for the trial of dictators of sovereign countries are a joke. It's always post-facto law, or law whose jurisdiction is selectively applied.
