I agree with KH on this. Tar and feathers for the truly villain.

In all honesty, they wouldn't have given him a fair trial. But the description of a begging man getting shot down does make one queasy. But this is also reminiscent of OBL's "execution," and I don't suppose most of us would have cared if we heard he begged for mercy like the tabloids claimed. So maybe this turn of events was to be expected.

      Dag, I sound wishy-washy.

Personally, I think the international criminal court is full of ****, as well as the trials countries hold for deposed leaders, and totally agree with KH. It's the ultimate issuer of post-facto justice.

They should have released video of the SEALs shooting him in the face

What do you base this opinion on?

The obvious fact that its decisions are reached based on ex-post-facto laws? That's basically its stated purpose.

And which laws are ex post facto?

The whole point is that there are no laws until the actual case, dumbass. That's the meaning of ex post facto.

Then give some examples from the ICC.

You made the claim. Clearly you were referring to something.

I think leaders convicted of crimes against humanity or whatever should be kept alive, and forced to take pictures with tourists at amusement park stands for the rest of their lives.

They would have a black water pistol or rubber axe to threaten the tourists with for the picture. Go on... tell me you wouldn't pay $10 to have a picture of Saddam threatening you and your family... Murdering these people is leaving money on the table

Alternatively they could be kept collectively in a cage in "it's a small world afterall" and receive electrical shocks whenever they stop singing.

Crimes against humanity and the like have been around for quite a bit.

If he really didn't break any laws why should he be put to death?

There's many reputable sources reporting witness accounts that he kept yelling "Don't shoot" and said to at least one young man, "What did I ever do to you?"

It's really not up for debate whether it happened or not.
