This is Lake Houston.
I wanted to show how bad the drought is in the Houston area.
The first pic is a boat launch.
That is a boat dock this little boy is standing on. ( my son BTW )
Water level is usually about a foot below the dock.
That is about a six foot drop off of the dock.
If you look close you can see the dead and dying trees in the background.

In 20-30 years a desert will run from Texas to Alberta. This will include some of the current most productive land in the US and Canada.
