Given what MLK actually wrote, it would be better having a white person do it. Why? Because MLK wanted a nation where race no longer mattered. Electing Obama, "just because he's black" would be incredibly offensive to Dr. MLK.

So the only thing that matters then is the colour of his skin. How far has America come.

First black president? Is that really, really, what Dr. King would want? I don't think so, Ozzy. For sure, if the man were qualified, if the man had done something worthy of Dr. King, by all means. But just for being black? Hardly.
