Layton was one of the good ones.
Even when I didn't agree with him, I could see that he came to his positions honestly and not as the result of cynical political maneuvering. While I don't agree with most of his policies, Layton was probably (was) the best human being out of all the leaders. Hell, I voted NDP for the 1st time ever in part due to him (that, and the local Conservative guy is useless.)
