In contrast, in Islam, all will have paradise at some point; those who lived before the Prophet Muhammad and did not hear his message are not doomed to eternal torment either. In Islam, God forgave Adam and does not visit the sins of the fathers upon the children. He does not require a sacrifice to forgive. He just forgives all who repent. He is The Merciful.

And, of course, not all sins are equal. God determines how bad each sin is.
Guess what? Every man thinks that the sins that he commits aren't that bad. That's wickedness. Islam was only invented by men. That's why they differentiate between sins. But God forgives all sins. He even forgets them. That's good to know unless you are so wicked that you don't think you need forgiveness.

Hey, Kid, if you accept Christ in hell, do you go to heaven?

Selfish reasons like admittance to heaven?

I don't think you can prove that people only do good for selfish reasons.

You recieve eternal life when you believe in Jesus. You have to decide to follow him. I personally believe that you are selfish when you do that because man retains his nature even though the Spirit causes him to do good.

It's more complicated than man just being selfish. Man is selfish but he also takes action on behalf of his tribe. Such action isn't good. It's just tribal.

There's pretty good evidence. They've done lots of research.

                      • So let's recap. The Christian God is loving, forgiving, and all-powerful but...

                        1) He visits the sins of the fathers upon the children. Adam sinned. All humans are burdened with that sin.
                        2) That means man is naturally wicked. He is conceived in sin even before he does a single action or a single thought.
                        3) Man is therefore responsible for sins committed by others. Man will be punished for sins committed by others.
                        4) For millenia, man was punished in hell for the sins they committed as well as the sin of Adam, with no respite, forgiveness, or salvation.
                        5) God, though he's all-powerful, did not possess the capacity to forgive. That had to be paid for.
                        6) That capacity to forgive was paid for by the death of Christ. The sinless Son of God had to pay the price for the sins of others.
                        7) Acceptance of Christ as a personal lord and savior grants you forgiveness and admittance to heaven.
                        8) Not accepting Christ means you will not be forgiven by God and you will have only eternal damnation.
                        9) Once you die, you have no hope for salvation. You can not be saved post-mortem.
                        10) 2+ Billion people believe this, or at least say they do. They also rave about how loving and forgiving their God is.

1, "He descended into the dead, on the third day he rose again." Christ broke the gates of hell and released all those held in captivity those who were not sinners, and they came with him. So the righteous in ages past are in heaven today.

                            2. There are those who were taken up into heaven prior to Christ. Like Enoch and Elijah. And the Patriarchs like Isaac, Jacob and Abraham, who were declared righteous. So yes, God forgave those from before Christ. There's even the priest of Melchizedek who appeared on earth to Abraham.

                            3. God doesn't condemn anyone for original sin, but only for sins committed.

That's the Curse of Adam and the Curse of Eve caused by their disobedience to God's command not to eat of the Fruit of the tree of Knowledge.

                              2) That means man is naturally wicked. He is conceived in sin even before he does a single action or a single thought.
                              That's the natural consequence, yes.

                              3) Man is therefore responsible for sins committed by others. Man will be punished for sins committed by others.
Man is burdened by sin, but he is not responsible for his sinful nature. He is responsible for sinful actions committed by submission to his sinful nature.

                              4) For millenia, man was punished in hell for the sins they committed as well as the sin of Adam, with no respite, forgiveness, or salvation.
Absolutely not true. Abraham believed and so it was credited to him as righteous. Plenty of examples in the OT.

                              5) God, though he's all-powerful, did not possess the capacity to forgive. That had to be paid for.
God has the capacity to forgive, but as a just God, sin must be atoned.

                              6) That capacity to forgive was paid for by the death of Christ. The sinless Son of God had to pay the price for the sins of others.
Chose to pay the price for the sins of others. That he did so means that there was a one time substitutionary sacrifice for sins.

                              7) Acceptance of Christ as a personal lord and savior grants you forgiveness and admittance to heaven.
                              Yes.

                              8) Not accepting Christ means you will not be forgiven by God and you will have only eternal damnation.
Not quite. In Romans, it speaks of those who are unknowing of Christ, and how they, by living according to the dictates of the Law, which they know from their conscience, show that they are themselves devoted to the law, at least to their understanding of it. Everyone has a Law written on their hearts, so that no one may be considered exempt.

                              9) Once you die, you have no hope for salvation. You can not be saved post-mortem.
Absolutely not. This is your one shot here for your time on Earth.

                              10) 2+ Billion people believe this, or at least say they do. They also rave about how loving and forgiving their God is.
You just admitted that 'love' isn't even applicable to Allah. Yes, God loves us, and loves his creation, very much. There is no one else, Albert.

                              • Thank God for creating you. Don't blame Him for your sin, because you did that to please your flesh. You are the guilty one Albe and you try to pin it on innocent God. No one makes you sin. That defense won't work in court will it? No because you have free will.
