Republicans love defaults which crash the national economy when they think they can blame a Democrat. Polls show 78% of the population understand it is the Republicans deliberately creating a crisis simply because they want to gain political advantage. The hard truth is no one believes their lies other then the old Bush 20% who are the dumbest retards in the entire country. Still, Republicans are damned if they do and damned if they don't because their primary voters, who want America to crash and burn as long as they can blame a Democrat, will primary them if they do the sane thing while in the general election they know they'll be dead for a generation if they do cause a default.
