Jon Miller: MikeH speaks the truth
Jon Miller: MikeH is a shockingly revolting dolt and a masturbatory urine-reeking sideshow freak whose word is as valuable as an aging cow paddy.

This reeks of a knee-jerk reaction. The English language version is fairly credible. Certainly far more so than Fox News ever was or will be. It's not even close.

The fact that Fox News' biases tend to align with your own doesn't make it a credible news source. It means they say what you want to hear, while Al Jazeera may not.

The only purpose for a TV news channel is to give me the best view in HD of the action. I don't need play by play or commentary. I mute the announcers on TV when I watch sports. I do the same for real life.
To us, it is the BEAST.

Wikileaks. Al jazeera givesll favourable coverage to qatari allies. It's like a qatari pravda. Not surprising as it's owned by the emir and represents his interests.

By the way, the Arabic version hosts a tv show whose presenter calls for war against the west, and killing jews. It truly is the voice of democracy and moderation in the middle east.
"You say that it is your custom to burn widows. Very well. We also have a custom: when men burn a woman alive, we tie a rope around their necks and we hang them. Build your funeral pyre; beside it, my carpenters will build a gallows. You may follow your custom. And then we will follow ours."--General Sir Charles James Napier

I can only assume you've not watched Fox News if this is your qualm with Al Jazeera. Al Jazeera has its biases, to be sure. But not anywhere near the extreme of Fox News' biases.

A talking head today on Fox News was discussing how muslims who are terrorists are muslim, but christians who are terrorists are not christians. Because Christians wouldn't do such a thing. Muslims, however... Further, this whole thing about the Norway shooter being a Christian is propaganda from the "secular left" and their "pro-Muslim" agenda.

If true, that host provides a good balance to Glenn Beck.

Comparing CNN, Faux and MSNBC is a bit like comparing Herpes, Chlamydia and Syphillis.

None of them are a good thing and if you spend too much time around any of them your wang will start dripping pus and burning when you pee.

I mean if you actually have read it, it is very good news source and you'd think that their reporting of the Arab Spring (or what ever its called now) would have elevated it even among the "Arabs are bad guys" crowd.

Yeah, that's something really annoying they do. I'm like WTF should I care what some jackass on twitter says? But I guess putting that crap on the air is easier then, you know, going out and doing the job of a journalist.
