I've done that a few times. I've usually gotten "I'm not physically attracted to you" and stuff along the lines of what I said in the other thread. Women don't like men with my builds or height.

There might be some truth to this. I showed your pics to some girls I know and 2 of them just laughed, another 2 actually threw up a little, and one physically threatened me. So what I think the problem is is that you're hitting on women when they are high.

It's really not that hard to get laid or to have a relationship. I suspect, as others have said, you have a confidence problem and are saying the wrong thing and behaving in a way which turns women away. Stop putting them on a pedistal, treat them like you would a normal person, and make it perfectly clear what you want from her. Believe it or not many women are tired of nice guys who's intentions aren't clear so make it unmistakable that you're interested in her and don't be afraid to make a move early on.

I wouldn't be one to give advice, as I haven't had a date since 2007. I am however getting better at having girls who are friends. For me its just a confidence issue, plus the fact I have mental disability which worsens the confidence issue, plus I'm unfit, plus I'm not rich. I have however done some more research on how some girls think and behave. I'd be happy to send you it over. It isn't a big piece of literature, only a dozen pages at the most, with most comparisons made easily using tables. Al, you physically look fine, but maybe some girls are a little scared of that, thinking that if a guy is a lot stronger than them that they could get hurt, physically as well as emotionally. Also if you're seen as too eager or negative in your own consideration of yourself, that's something they can read. Girls are quite good at reading body-language, and non-verbal communication. Sorry again for long post, all I can say is, you're not the only one with girl difficulties. I hope things do get better for you, and if anyone wants a copy of these masculine compared to feminine tables/graphs on various subjects of communication and thinking, feel free to message me.

cool, glad I can help. If you don't want to give me your email details that's ok. I do however know of somewhere you can start with some of the basics.

One place I looked was Wikipedia. I know a lot of people don't source it, because they can make up ****, so hopefully I'll be forgiven for this scholarly sin .

I suggest you search GENDER ROLE in Wikipedia, go down to the section of the post called COMMUNICATION. That starts the basics in masculine and feminine forms of communication.

Then there are some ideas that have been around for a while. The Men from Mars Women from Venus being quoted and used as a model by many, including oddly enough a heavy metal guy on youtube.

Basically its like this, men see themselves as useful in getting things done, they become closer by working together, achieving a goal, solving problem and yet still being independent and helpful. Women are more about communication and strengthening of their contacts.

If a girl for instance says she has a problem at work or a **** day, the guy would normally try to figure out how to solve her problem. For him an act of caring is basically doing something for that person or solving the problem. He's Mr Fix-it. He's the handy-man, no pun intended. Women however need a closer social network. When they have a problem they want the guy to say he understands what she's going through, give her emotional support, just be there for her. So in a way you solve the problem by not trying to solve the problem and just be there for her.

That doesn't mean however that she doesn't appreciate the fact that men want to help. In fact, I often ask some of my girl-friends if they need any help, and they appreciate that someone expresses that caring nature. They just need to vent, like men do, and don't need a whole dozen lot of other things thrown at them.

Guys are also under pressure to provide, be strong and independent, as men had to be as hunters and warriors. They were expendable, they had to protect the tribe and do the physical killing of the gazelle to feed the tribe. Women were the gatherers, the nurturers and the looking afters of children, the sick, the elderly and even of the men sometimes.
