Me: Cause I'm picking a day after work when i'm getting you dinner
Me: What do you like?
Her: Dinner?
Her: Lol
Me: That's just an excuse to chill with you
Her: Lol. Awwww
Me: Wednesday then I'm off but we'll meet up at five
Her: Lol.. Excuse me?
Her: I have classes on wed
Me: Thursday
No response

I did the jump to any other day at the first can't do that day, desperation-looking thing! That's exactly when she stopped responding, too.

If you suddenly act radically different she might think you are false/etc... and would be turned off by it.

That is a really 'forward' move, which if is an opposition to who she knows you to be, would just make her think you were strange/false towards her.

I would guess.

Other people who are great people, great in relationships, etc, make such moves naturally. You don't appear to be one of them.

This was the part that would work for KH or my brother or a friend or many other people. (Although the only one I think that would say that is one of my friends)

The problem is obviously that I jumped to Thursday. I need to make it look like I have a full plate and can't just switch to a different day like that. Notice how she instantly stopped responding when I said Thursday.
