The Doors - Blow.
Kansas - Blow.
Aerosmith - Blow. Led Zeppelin ripoffs.
Eagles - Really blow. Also barely rock.
Boston - Blow, except for More Than a Feeling's epic cheesiness.
Lynyrd Skynyrd - Good, but Allman Brothers ripoffs.
Journey - Blow.
REO Speedwagon - Blow.
REM - Decent, but pansies.
Metallica - Blow.
Jefferson Airplane - Blow (literally in Grace Slick's case).
Where the **** are the Allman Brothers?

Alby, if you think Angry Eyes sounds too country, stay the hell away from the Southern Rock genre (though you will miss the Allman Brothers and Lynyrd Skynyrd). Glad you appreciate the musical side of it; there may be hope for you.

Put on some headphones, dude. The frequency range you are limiting yourself to is just stupid. That's no way to experience and judge music. Just sayin'.

I wen t looking for lists of the "top" rock and roll bands... and found the lists as different as the opinions shared here. The differences in the lists were stunning.
Which just proves that it is simply a matter of taste. Nobody is right or wrong, it's all about what YOU like. So sample a bunch of the bands provided here, and make up your own mind.

Boring until they picked up 2+ minutes in then the song ended abruptly (). If I was setting up that song's structure, I would chop up that lengthy quiet intro. The singers are unintelligible though. No thanks. I need to know what my singers are saying.

I think the problem is that the song sounds like it "flows" into another song. Probaly sounds better with the next song played after.
