It's not about size. I think it's about its definition; the 'chiseled' look.

Anyway, the list you're getting worked up about, Heraclitus, has Nicki Minaj at #75. Any list that has the self-described "Harajuku Barbie", complete with the mountain of plastic surgery she obviously under-went to look like that, is a questionable list.

I don't. I highly doubt Latinos, Italians, Jews, Eastern Europeans, etc. do. Anyone whose family came over here in the 20th century.
I don't have any either. But it is definitely far higher than 9% (or 16% with adding the American part). Unless someone is like me and off the boat within the last century they are almost always some combination of German, English, Irish and Scottish. Often with a dash of Native American thrown in (or so they always claim). I'm sure on a census form they don't like 5 or 6 different ancestries so it gets undercounted a bit. But if someone is 1/16th English or whatever, does it matter anymore?

Deeply fascinating diversion into genetic heritage, but wouldn't it be more productive to ask why the (presumably North American) voters get a stiffie for that look?

Because the royal navy conquered the world with rum, sodomy and the lash and the genetic predilection for at least two of those is deeply embedded in all Anglo-sphere nations?
Modern man calls walking more quickly in the same direction down the same road “change.”
The world, in the last three hundred years, has not changed except in that sense.

9% is considered an significant undercount by most since many English Americans identify simply as American.
Not to mention most of those German an Irish (or just about any other group) are actually 1/2-1/1000000000th that group but since their surname is German or Irish or what not they claim that. The reality is a German immigrant came to America and probably married a local girl who was, in all likelihood British American, and then their kids married yet more locals, etc...
Bull****. A Sicilian immigrant family that arrived post-war... bull**** that they could be expected to have English ancestry. I suspect they stayed in the Italian-American community or at least within the communities of other recent immigrants.
