hmmm. in portuguese 'to' and 'at' (as well as 'the'(f)) are 'a', and 'em' can be 'in' or 'on'. i'd be very surprised if it was different in spanish. i also know that in portuguese (from portugal, not so much in brasil) you use an 'a' where you have a person as an object. i would expect to see this in spanish as well.Originally posted by Al B. por is 'for' 'by' and 'through'. 'para' is 'to' 'in order to' and 'for' (in certain situations).
