You don't know the difference between "to" and "on."

Actually, in Spanish 'a' can mean both

Though 'en' and 'sobre' would probably be more likely.

hmmm. in portuguese 'to' and 'at' (as well as 'the'(f)) are 'a', and 'em' can be 'in' or 'on'. i'd be very surprised if it was different in spanish. i also know that in portuguese (from portugal, not so much in brasil) you use an 'a' where you have a person as an object. i would expect to see this in spanish as well.

'Por' is usually more like 'by' or 'for', though I guess it could mean 'to'. These Spanish conjunctions are a mess.

por is 'for' 'by' and 'through'. 'para' is 'to' 'in order to' and 'for' (in certain situations).

this is in portuguese, although i think spanish prepositions are very similar. what we really need is someone who actually speaks spanish of course.

Probably someone who said they'd nail the sales target got it.

Considering that I was not sure I could meet the sales quota, this could be for the best.

I wouldn't be in Sales, but the carrot will always be dangled out a little far for a Salesman. They all have quotas.
