Okay - I will scratch that one off.

        Alright - thank you.

That's what I want to be asked really. Sensible questions, that fit in the context of the interview.

Oh and asking about something that's already been covered, or that it's been mentioned we'll cover later is a massive no-no.

I like some of these questions, I think I'll start using them. The point is not the answer for me, but to get them out of their rehearsed Q/A cycle.

you should post the cvs on poly and let us pick.

If anything funny comes along I'll let you know

My favourite applicants are the ones THAT USE CAPS LOCK ON THEIR ENTIRE MESSAGE, who usually think that the correct answer to the question: why do you want this job, is, BECAUSE I DON'T HAVE ONE RIGHT NOW

Yeah, when I first started using the behavioral interviewing method it was quite effective, but now that it has been around for awhile, more people are being coached too well and it invalidates the process. I've been able to keep it useful by creating different questions. Coaching still helps but they have to dance a bit to adjust. Since dancing a bit is a positive for me, It's still useful.

I think it went well. One of the things she asked was, "Given your academic background and academic work experience, why do you want to work at AT&T now?" So I told her that the employment market for community college teaching is saturated right now with too many applicants. Then I said that this may lead me to a career path that I never thought of before and I could end up being happy working for AT&T in the long-term.

She also asked what would be my biggest adjustment in working at the call center, and I said that my biggest adjustment would be in trying to meet the sales quota every month.

The interview went for about twenty minutes.

                        Sounds like a good answer

This one I don't understand. From what I gather you should have answered; "to reach and then exceed the quotum, to demonstrate my potential for further advancement within the company."

Don't say it'll be difficult for you to do basically the ONE THING they expect the most out of you!
