          In light of the kid probably getting his money from grandparents, the richer thing is still relevant. He didn't work for all of that money. And if he did, I doubt he was paying rent, utilities, etc. Rich mommy and daddy took care of that. Probably going to be taking care of some of his living expenses at college, as well.

          And I can get a job. I've just not been wanting to go back to working in fast food I have an appointment with the Area Manager of Checkers tomorrow about work. damnit.

                I don't run his ****ing bank account. I figure when he says "college savings" he means the money his parents saved up for his college. Why are we still talking about this? He bought a car because he didn't need his college money because he got a full ride scholarship and his parents needed a v8 for their trailer.

                    $50k in savings at 18 is not impossible if you've been working hard.

                    Though you wouldn't spend it on a car, unless you lived in a social-democracy with subsidized tuition fees.
