  • That would really mean the show would have to diverge from the books .

    • To be fair, she really only brings three things to the show, and it wouldn't be that hard to find another person with them.

      • Emilia Clarke is one of the weakest actresses but also plays probably the second most iconic character after Tyrion so they can't really switch her out.

I was just fillinf in for Kid.
In the books she has a hilarious lack of self-awareness thinking everyone dislikes her because she's a Woman with Power whereas it's actually because she's petty, vindictive, quick-tempered, and cruel.

        • The series is much bigger than any single actor in it. She might find she's more dispensable than she thought.

          • There are many actors/actresses that thought they were not replaceable. She is not one of them. People would ***** for a season but that's about it. Get a better actress with decent tits and I'd forgot about her within 4 episodes.
There's only a couple on GOT that would really piss people off but even then, if the replacement is a good actor, they would eventually be accepted. (Tyrion is probably the only exception for me)

            • You'd be hard pressed to find another dwarf actor remotely as talented as Peter Dinklage simply from statistical improbability. He's indispensable.

                      • Angry obese guy pissed fans are worried he might die before finishing his work:
George R.R. Martin: **** You If You Think I Won't Finish the Series

George R.R. Martin, the 65-year-old author of A Song of Ice and Fire, isn't exactly the fastest writer, much to the chagrin of fans who've gotten used to waiting years for their next fix. And then there's the nightmare scenario: What if GRRM dies before he completes the seventh book?

Well, ol' George has two words for anyone who brings up that depressing possibility: "**** you."

"I find that question pretty offensive, people speculating about my death and my health," he said, in an interview with the Swiss newspaper Tagesanzeiger, "So **** you to those people."

He punctuated his point with a middle finger.

But fantasy nerds have been burned before—R.I.P. Robert Jordan—and Martin's books are so beloved that a certain segment of the internet goes on edge whenever he's seen in public instead of hunkered down to finish The Winds of Winter.

But whether he wins or he dies—those are the two options when you write Game of Thrones, obviously—it bears repeating: George R.R. Martin is not your *****.

                        • Brandon Sanderson is a better writer than Jordan ever was. So while I was sad when Jordan passed, his series didn't really suffer.

I'm just curious why an obese old man who doesn't look in the best of health is pissed people are worried he might die before finishing the series given his procrastination streak. Fat people are supposed to be jolly.
