        I've been told by a Louisiana native that Governor Earl Long was broken out of a Texas jail by the Louisiana State Troopers. I dont know if it is true (google is of course useless) but wouldnt it be fun to see the Wisconsin State Police go across state lines to Illinois and escort the meatheads back to their responsibilites.
        We need seperate human-only games for MP/PBEM that dont include the over-simplifications required to have a good AI

                              I think they are a source of inefficiency. They protect inefficient teachers, resist attempts at merit based pay, and force the taxpayers to pay for an unreasonable portion of their benefits.

                                While I agree that some unions may protect bad teachers, merit based pay won't work unless you have a system for measuring quality in education. Test-scores are not an effective method for measuring teacher quality.

                                Finally, if the tax payers aren't going to pay the teachers, who will?
