Alby, I hate to nitpick but why would a Berber Jew pointing out Arab or Black failings be considered self-hating?

Regardless its not like all the different immigrant groups are one big happy family or are uniformly pro-immigration or lefties, for instance the (in)famous Dutch politician Geert Wilders is of part immigrant background. His mom was mixed race and his dad (a Jew) suffered severe persecution from the Nazis which traumatised him so much he refused to enter Germany ever again.

Europeans don’t respect free speech anymore, which is unfortunate. Great societies don’t stifle speech, no matter how hateful, ill informed or just plain crazy as it may be.

Which is of course why you support police brutality against peaceful protesters.

        Go away.

          Touché.

Owning guns is necessary, but not sufficient, to maintain liberty over time. Political will must also exist.

Dude. If you are not from Canada you don't even know what liberty is.

But do they give entry visas to people who say "Why yes! Yes, I am a member of the communist party!"?

Or arrest you if you cross the road in the wrong place?

Bloody socialist nanny state oppression of free walking

Trying to introduce such here in europe would end in revolution
With or without religion, you would have good people doing good things and evil people doing evil things. But for good people to do evil things, that takes religion.

Trying to get you lazy asses to put in a decent work week would end in revolution there.

                        What's wrong with a 37 hour work week ?

It's obvious to all of us on this side of the ocean.

I have a free speech issue of sorts...

I read on CNN recently that some Brit show ("Skins") airing on MTV was too racy for some of the sponsors. Having now watched an episode I don't really see the big deal.

                                Anyone else seen it?
