Canada erects protectionist barriers to protect its faltering rock'n'roll industry.
"Canada" is a nation. To say all here agree with this group and are worthy of a because what one non-governmental organisation does it plainly stupid.
The CBSC is not Canada.

In fact Tuberski, this is similar in many respects to the Huck Finn controversy in your country right now. Do you hear me blaming your country for that?
Very true, but if I'd anything else you wouldn't have gotten your titty in a twist, like you have now.
I generalized Canadians.
You automatically assumed that the person who complained is a "******".
ACK!
Yes, that is an assumption. I hope you realise why I chose those particular words.
The next interesting step (if anyone actually cares for a discussion of the actual issues) should come soon. As mentioned, CBSC is complaint driven meaning despite their recent ruling they won't be doing anything about the stations still playing the song unless they receive another complaint. At that point... It's an absurd decision that the Canadian public simply doesn't respect.

Btw, message boards I've seen in this country are advocating flooding the CBSC with complaints about anything and everything. One poster I saw was going to complain about "Classic Rock" stations as he hates classic rock...

Turns out my assumption may be true.
The complaint said: “Money for Nothing was aired and included the word ‘******’ a total of three times. I am aware of other versions of the song and yet Oz-FM chose to play and not censor the version I am complaining about. As a member of the LGBT community I feel there is no reason for such discriminatory remarks to be played on air.”
They could be lesbian or "other" but my money for nothing is on "******".

"the little ****** with the earring and the make up" refers to this
In one version of the origin it refers to Prince.
