When I was young the cold was welcome change from the heat of summer.
As I got older, it wasn't welcome but still tolerable.
As I get even older, I'm looking to eventually head south because I'm learning to hate the cold.
It's almost as if all his overconfident, absolutist assertions were spoonfed to him by a trusted website or subreddit. Sheeple

Spencer, I know you guys down South have had your first snowfall in like a century twice now but cold in Alabama is not cold at all. If it's not capable of giving you frostbite or hypothermia, it's not cold.

When it's 15 degrees with 70% humidity and north winds at 30 MPH, it's cold.

              15 F ?

That's about -10 C. You must be freezing in your cowboy boots.

It's 28F currently in Dallas in the late morning. But your average high temperature for today is a relatively balmy 55F.

Like I said, I know you guys have been unusually cold down South this winter but let's get real, a Texan winter is rarely cold.

You are such a moron. Frostbite can happen if it is under 32 F, and I know Georgia isn't getting above that today (it's 25 right now) and definitely will drop to the teens at night. Alabama is experiencing similar weather.

Hey moron, read what I said. I noted the unusually recent cold weather in the South and was speaking generally. Atlanta's average high for today is 51F and its average low is 33F, both above freezing.

Do you even read my posts or do you just put whatever you want to think I say into your head and barf **** out of your mouth?

                      That is cold.

I think it is similar in temperature here today but:

                      1) there is no wind to contend with
                      2) we're used to it

It snowed over 12 inches in one day last year. I've had people from Utah laugh at me when I talked about cold here, then they came here and froze their asses off.
I've been in Utah, Colorado and Missouri with snow on the ground. Less humidity and less wind. A person can go outside without a coat for quite some time. Not here.

I worked a delivery job in my younger years and one of my co-workers went year round in shorts.

                            Wow!

Are we really doing it? Is Apolyton entering the Twilight Zone and to be anti-Albie, everyone's going to just nod at the thought of Texas having some frigid winters?

Today’s and tonight’s Ottawa, Ontario weather forecast, weather conditions and Doppler radar from The Weather Channel and Weather.com

That is the graph of average monthly highs and lows in the city of Dallas. Never once do the average monthly lows dip below freezing.

In fact, if you check the daily averages for the coldest month in Texas (January), average daily lows never dip below freezing either.

The average high in December (57F), January (55F) and February (61F) tell what the world already knows, regardless of the fact that Apolyton posters want to be in the Twilight Zone just to spite me.

Average? Don't they get cold spells?

I guess you don't understand averages. There's variations, and some of the winter days in Texas are ****ing cold.
