Hey do you know how tedious it is to get these daily summaries? I see no reason why January 11th would be an atypical day in any way. If anything, it being early to mid January would indicate it would be especially cold.

I'm not spending an hour keying all the datapoints. ****ing **** I'm not doing that.

Then why the **** did you just check ONE? You should know that no single point could have had any inference in the discussion (unless they were all cold, in which case they'd have proven you wrong)

I already been stated the recent cold spat notwithstanding in my very first post that started this; a post both Imran and Sloww took issue with... taking issue with my claim that cold winters in Dallas and ATL are unusual!

For the record, Albert did not originally claim that Texas is colder than Philly.

It's 28F currently in Dallas in the late morning. But your average high temperature for today is a relatively balmy 55F.

Like I said, I know you guys have been unusually cold down South this winter but let's get real, a Texan winter is rarely cold.

NO. It's not bull****! Judging from January 11th over the past 11 years, the low temp has only dipped below freezing 3 times in 11 years and the highs never dipped below freezing.

Fine. I'll get you more data points. Going to take ****ing forever to key them all in. I'm going to prove that a cold night (represented by a low temp < 32F) and especially a cold day (represented by a high temp < 32F) are rare (which I define as consisting of <25% of data points).
