Never said I believed priests were God... and you really need to learn how to read and comprehend. Where did I ever say that it had anything to do with my belief in God... My problem was the evil way the a Church of God dealt with the problem... a far greater evil than the individuals that did the original deeds. A church led by a figure that supposedly speaks for god, let it continue, covered it up, allowed the priests to rape more children, threatened victims to stay quiet... now that' real evil. And that's, AS I STATED, one of the main reasons I'm no longer a practicing Catholic. I never said anything about my personal beliefs in a god.

Not people, guilty child raping priests. For normal guilty people on death row, I now support the abolishment of the death penalty so I do support less suffering for some guilty people, just not guilty child raping priests. (i'm not even suggesting an earthly punishment so I don't have to make a judgement of which are actually guilty. I'd let god take care of that, if there is one) You have proven that you lack the ability to understand the most simple things. Which is probably the main reason you find such comfort in God, since it eliminates a lot of the reasons for you to have to think.

Because God isn't using those people for his purposes? Difference being those are the people who are listening to God rather then ignoring the subtle push of the Holy Spirit (as THEY THEMSLEVES will admit). The sufferings we inflict on each other is because of our initial rejection of God, sin being simply distancing ourselves for God's holy nature. When we focus on our own desires rather than those around us.

There is much suffering in this world not caused by man. And some of the suffering in this world is caused in the name of god. And some of the suffering some inflict on others has nothing to do with God.

Because I hear many priests saying they did that before they felt God say to do so. Is it possible for you to discuss things in good faith or do you wish to emulate MOBIUS?

What I believe is what I BELIEVE... I don't try to cram it down everybody else's throat and claim my beliefs are the only right belief. I'm not that arrogant. I did say I want no part of the God you believe in. Because the god you describe is a piss poor god.
