Just because reason is useful for developing a more accurate view of the world does not mean all issues are going to be clear cut. I mean come on, do you think any human knows everything? No, but that doesn't make reason useless.

Reason is useful in science, to obtain objective certainties. You can't go around saying that you're right because you're reasonable if people who disagree with you are also reasonable. That doesn't make any sense. So why do you think you are right?
