Going back to the forgiveness discussion; true forgiveness is to forgive without repentance or being asked to forgive or to determine if someone is "worthy" of forgiveness. If someone is capable of forgiving a man for raping his girlfriend's 18-month-old son to death, well, frankly, I don't think I want anything to do with them.

Gee... in the Catholic religion, don't you have to go to confession and confess you sins before God will forgive you... and if you don't, your sins won't be forgiven, and you will go to hell... If that is the case, not even jesus/god understands true forgiveness

I'm all for forgiveness but I'm a fan of only giving it to some of those that repent. When a child molester shows no remorse and vows he will do it again. NAAAAAA So yeah for me, it's kind of conditional.
