I did have faith when I was growing up. Our summer camp was a seminary. I almost joined the priesthood. But just as a lot of people say, when you look around you, how can you not see the glory of god in creation, when I look around I just see a world who's evil shows to me that there can't be a god. I don't give a rat's ass about free will and choice, no god that I would worship could be blind to the suffering of all the children and other innocents and continue to allow it to happen.
But I am patient to those that try to convert me.
I treat them like a telemarketing solicitation. You wait for the first break when they have to breath and quickly say "no thank you" and hang up or walk away. There's no reason to be rude. They're just doing their job. At least when I visited Salt Lake City frequently it was the real good looking women that would try to convert you and you could just stare at them and not bother listening to them. Since I usually relaxed by the hotel pool, (since they have clubs and not bars) they would usually have bathing suits on.It was always hilarious when my associates would be out there for their first time and think the women were actually hitting on them. I'd just chuckle and say "wait for it" and eventually the conversation would turn to the glories of the Mormon faith.
It's almost as if all his overconfident, absolutist assertions were spoonfed to him by a trusted website or subreddit. Sheeple

But doesn't the bible say that in the old days, that God didn't like what man was doing and decided a redo was in order and sent a flood to scour the planet of evil. (which also proves that god does indeed make mistakes) Looking at todays world, it has to be at least as bad. Where is God's flood now? So there is really no God, or he just doesn't care enough anymore. Either way, no reason to worship this one. Don't laugh too hard. It's no worse than what's been thrown out as proof that there is a god.

Translation can be misinterpreted.
And, of course, each book, while divinely inspired, was written by a person with their own flaws and biases. And I firmly believes that God reveals Himself to people in each era in their own ways to further their understanding of God and not to overwhelm them, which is why even after the crucifixion, God sent the Holy Spirit into the world, to continue revealing His word.“I give you a new commandment, that you love one another. Just as I have loved you, you also should love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.”

But people are capable of thinking in other ways as well, which is to say that they have free will.

I wish I could speak as an intellectual.

Points and laughs at how simple all the religious people sound spouting all their silly self affirming mantras...
