So you're saying that believing in God makes life not suck. But surely it would still be possible to believe in a God if there was no God? So lack of a God does not imply suckyness. So the statement "if there was no God, life would suck" is false.

I'm having a hard time coming up with any possible way to disprove the existence of God. The only thing that springs to mind is proof that another omnipotent, omniscient god exists who says that God does not. And even then you still have to contend with Descartes' evil daemon argument. Non-falsifiable, anybody?
