while I don't disagree with you, there is a simple point of fact that there is a difference between each of those; a woman, lady, and female. perhaps Al's trouble is that he cannot differentiate between the groups and thinks of them as all 'females,' which is offensive. worse yet he may treat all these people as just 'females,' but that's speculation beyond what i'm prepared to argue. my ultimate point is that the way one thinks about a person is significant, and that nomenclature counts. I certainly don't need reminding as to what these differences are.

If any of you was a real man, you'd go and try to hit the clubs/bars with Albie and get him laid (by a woman!). I cannot believe there are no non-nerdy apolytoners in the Philly area - that means that noone can step up and tutor him on how to approach and talk to women. Maybe I should clarify some things...

There's no 'trying to spare your feelings' thing going on. Many of these women actually told me they liked me, that I seemed like someone they would like to know better, etc. They told others that they were interested in me. The people who hook me up with their friends... this is no dump him on their friend thing. This is their friend saw me and was like 'Who is he? Does he have a girlfriend?' A few women have given me slips of paper with their name and number in college classes or at my job when they're customers, etc.

In every case though, they become repulsed within a week.

Then, to further mind**** the whole thing, they see me several months later and are back to being blushy and smiling.

Sounds like you are "eye candy"- I don't know if you are arrogant, boring, have unacceptable views about "females" or are unbearably stupid but it seems like you pass the physical part of initial interest and then whazam-- down it goes-- so it has to be one of thse things. I mean , ALL the girls reject you ?? The fact that they are flirty later is inconsequential, they can be flirty all they want with someone they see as decent to look at.

You obviously have a major flaw when it comes to dating. From a distance it is impossible to diagnose but it obviously exists because even the majority of fugly dues can find women from time to time. To fail so reliably and often means there is a BIG issue

^This. What Albie needs to do is secretly videotape a few dates so we can evaluate when and why it goes south. He's ok-looking and seems to have a lot of knowledge (even if its application often reaches the wrong conclusions), so my money's on A) just a generally lifeless (or worse, crazed) look in his eyes that women recognize from stalker creeps they've known in the past (even if Alby happens to not be one), and/or B) his personality style being as stiff and rigid as his dietary choices, fitness regimen, and career preference are. I suffer from the same two issues to an extent, but both can be easily solved by social lubricant. Oh wait, Alby refuses to drink, even just a little. Yep, he's boned.

It has very little to do with his looks. He just cannot carry himself, probably because of the rather crappy situation he is in, in terms of career, and a lack of a strong father figure. :/
