The muslim population in the US is growing also. Not as fast as elsewhere but the trends are there. We'll see in a few decades what the outcome is.

That's not really correct, rah. Firstly, the US recieved the vast majority of its immigrants before a parallel society was possible in the sense it is today. And sure, Chinatown exists, but then the Chinese presence in New York and other places isn't exactly causing problems comparable to the subject at hand. Neither has the US any experience in being a high welfare society recieving newcomers of this kind, and finally there's the sheer geographical conditions.

I don't deny the 'handout tit' exists, but it can't be compared AT ALL to the standard for an unemployed (legal) immigrant in Northern Europe. Take universal health care as the obvious example.
Another thing that hurts the immigration in a way unlike the US is how high our wages are. Hispanics in the US have much better options for low-paid work if they lack language skills and/or education. This is especially important considering that the key to make Islam less ... well, Islam, would be more Muslim women in the workforce.

You have to remove universal health care as an example. US emergency rooms are required to treat all comers. When they can't pay, (i.e every unemployed legal or illegal immigrant) the rest of us taxpayers end up picking up the tab. Since preventive treatments are usually cheaper than waiting for it to be an emergency, you have to wonder overall what is more expensive.
And Indian and other eastern Asian immigrants are often in higher paying tech jobs so I'm still not really seeing any difference here. Except we have more immigrants (legal and illegal) combined.
