We need a thread on that! I heard you Europeans and Japanese do it the natural way. I know a guy who knows a guy who visited the Netherlands and he said the public toilets were holes in the floor and you squat down to crap (there is a handle bar for those without the greatest balance/flexibility)

Is it not true? I don't think the guy was lying about the Netherlands... though he may have been high. I think he said he was.

There used to be some hole in the ground ones in France I think. Never heard of them in the Netherlands. Haven't seen one anywhere in Europe in the last 20 years anyway.

UK has never had hole in the ground ones, not for last 34 years I've been around. We used to scare other school kids on trips abroad with the concept, but never saw one then either.

Not since I was a toddler. Although I did visit Toronto in my childhood. Why would I want to voluntarily leave the greatest country in the world?


And I see the pictures! I heard the stories! You can not lie to us Americans to trick us into visiting your second-rate countries and spending our hard-earned tourist dollars! We only get 1-2 weeks vacation here and we're not going to waste it in countries with floor toilets
