Are there studies from North Korea? Or on North Korean refugees?
Or was that supposed score as I suspect interpolated from NK's neighbors?

Did your Qatar study differentiate between the Arab ruling class and their South Asian servants? Did you factor in the fact that Qatar's high GDP per capita isn't distributed among the non-native population and that Qatar has a skewed sex-ratio of 3.46 males per female, the foreign workers work on a contract basis, etc. so that the foreigners (THE VAST MAJORITY OF QATAR'S POPULATION) are in no way benefiting from the high GDP (they're not having kids in Qatar going to Qatari schools).Last edited by Al B. As a side note, I find this idea that Arabs and other Mediterranean peoples have low IQ's bizarre. From the ancient civilizations of Egypt and Sumeria through the entire course of history, these low IQ groups like the Arabs and Greeks dominated Western culture. The Middle East was the most advanced area on the planet until the 18th century. How did the Arabs all go retarded?
And Hera, did you have any response to my point before... How is it that middling 2nd world Latin Americans, Greeks, Balkans, Iberians, Turks, Arabs, etc. all have about the same low IQ's in the 80's, but the wealthy Italians have 100+ IQ's. Did you ever pull up your IQ stats for the poor Eastern European countries?
I went and grabbed Richard Lynn (that's your boy, right) stats...
Bulgaria 87
Lithuania 91
Romania 94
Why do you not see a pattern here, Hera?
2nd rate countries (Latin America, Middle East, Spain, Greece, Serbia, Lithuania, Romania, etc. etc.) all have about the same IQ range 85-95 regardless of ethnic similarity or not (why are the Lithuanians not the same as the Germans? The Nazis considered the Lithuanians part of the Germanic race though they didn't even speak a Germanic language! Says a lot about perceived cultural and genetic similarity).
Then you take a look at the Italians who have no reason to be at all genetically different than the Spanish or the Greeks or the Arabs... yet they have a 100+ IQ. Italy also happens to be in the top 10 of wealthiest countries in the world.
Let's think about it... poorer countries, regardless if you're talking Latinos, Afghans, or Romanians, all have about the same low IQ... rich countries, even those like Italy with populations similar to surrounding low IQ countries, have high IQ's... add in the fact that richer countries have a better fed, healthier, and better educated population... it's obvious what is the cause of the disparities in IQ.Last edited by Al B. From Barnabas' link:
Most current data suggest that between 43.8 and 48.9 percent of all African immigrants in the United States hold a college diploma (Charles, 2007; U.S. Census, 2000). This is slightly more than the percentage of Asian immigrants to the U.S., nearly “double” the rate of native-born white Americans, and nearly four times the rate of native-born African Americans (Williams, 2005; The Journal of Blacks in Higher Education, 1999-2000). Black immigrants from Africa have also been shown to have rates of college graduation that are “more” than double that of the U.S.-born population, in general (Williams, 2005). For example, in 1997, 19.4 percent of all adult African immigrants in the United States held a “graduate degree”, compared to 8.1 percent of adult whites (a difference of “more than” double) and 3.8 percent of adult blacks in the United States, respectively (The Journal of Blacks in Higher Education, 1999-2000). This shows that America has an equally large achievement gap between white Americans and African born immigrants as between native born white and black Americans."Flutie was better than Kelly, Elway, Esiason and Cunningham." - Ben Kenobi
