It's High Time I Developed a Scotch Habit

So teach me about Scotch.

I have recently purchased a bottle of Battlehill, single malt Scotch whiskey, aged 11 years.


I don't hate it. Can't say that I love it, though.

Poured it over rocks into a plastic cup.

Comrade Bunnygrrl says I need more ice. So she walked off with my scotch. She brought it back, with more ice.

Personally, I only drink it neat. Ever. No water, no ice.

Your appreciation should grow the more you get to sample. It takes some tongue training to appreciate.

I just don't like the taste of Scotch once it's been altered by water (and make no mistake, it does alter it).

Most people abhor alcohol because people use it to get drunk. But if you get drunk on Scotch, you're ridiculously stupid. It's way too expensive.
