  • Poor girls has the boat that they want if they want it.
With or without religion, you would have good people doing good things and evil people doing evil things. But for good people to do evil things, that takes religion.

      • Good answer.

Apparently BC has a different standard for "poor" than we do.

        • Nah, I just has another view on "how do I get what I really want". You two guys (Wez/Sloww) apparently think that such is only possible by lying, stealing, robbing etc, - is that due to experience ? Just curious

            • Probably not, but what has that to do with what you want to do ?

How would you suggest they go about it?

                • Let's say such an endeavour would cost $20K (ridiculously low I suspect).

At a minimum wage job (assuming she can get it) our poor 16 year old girl might scrape enough cash together (if she saved everything she made) by the time she's 20.

**** that doesn't work does it?

Nothing. Which is pretty much what I want to do about this chick.

Yeah, that is impossible, so anyone that attempt such should be prohibited to do such. Even if they in other ways are able to do it, we better have to prevent it - some may teach a lesson

                      • Sure, Australia and America giving each other equivalent compensation, but you want responsible people to foot the bill for idiots who can foot it themselves.
Sigh. You don't pay anything. What you get back from Australia is what you pay out.

                          Again, such as?

Also again, I'm not prohibiting. I said poor girls aren't sailing around the world.

Uhmn, that is actually the problem - too few do that.

Okay, I'm not mad, but whereTF did this (and Ming's anti-Catholic remark a few posts later) come from? Religion had nothing to do with what I was saying. I did not argue "Lindy should have been praying in church instead of flying his airplane" or anything. This is totally out of left field.
