Job gains over the last six months aren't even enough to keep up with population growth, moron. They sure as hell aren't "pretty good" and won't reduce unemployment to pre-recession levels.
While now adding rather than losing jobs, the labor market remains 7.4 million payroll jobs below where it was at the start of the recession in December 2007. And this number understates the size of the gap in the labor market by failing to take into account the fact that simply to keep up with the growth in the working-age population, the labor market should have added around 3 million jobs since December 2007. This means the labor market is now roughly 10.4 million jobs below what would restore the pre-recession unemployment rate (5.0% in December 2007), and without the 564,000 temporary workers currently on Census payrolls, the gap would be 11 million. To put this all in perspective, consider the following: in the boom of the late 1990s, the fastest year of employment growth was 2.6% in 1998. If we could achieve that same extremely strong level of growth from this point forward, we would still not get down to pre-recession unemployment rates until January 2015.

since January the results have been mixed but the trend line has remained positive with jobs being added. Drake, stop being such a tool.
Why not look at the overall employment, and not 'jobs added'.
Why do you think that 10 percent unemployment under Obama is better than 4 percent under Bush?Scouse Git (2) La Fayette Adam Smith Solomwi and Loinburger will not be forgotten.

The trend line is up on a graph of employment. Sure, we'd all like the numbers to be larger but the trend is still positive and has been for sometime now. That you continue to lie about this obvious truth just proves once again what a monumental ******** you are.Try http://wordforge.net/index.php for discussion and debate.

No, it isn't. We had one ok jobs report in April, which was pretty much undone by the **** sandwich that was the May jobs report. You clearly have no idea what you're talking about.KH FOR OWNER!

I'm going back to work now since you're a waste of time but if you'd like to be less ignorant I suggest you Google "best fits trend lines" and how you create one for a graph like the one I posted. If the slope of the trend line is positive then the trends are positive while if it is negative then the trends are negative. The current trend is most definitely positive.Try http://wordforge.net/index.php for discussion and debate.

Drake, what does your avatar mean? What happened to Shatner? R.Kelly's Trapped in the Closet is like a decade old. And why does it flash? What is that other picture of? I can't make it out."Flutie was better than Kelly, Elway, Esiason and Cunningham." - Ben Kenobi
