So...this is a bit of a threadjack, but I'd like to learn more about economics and the economics classes at my school are all taught by history teachers that can't do algebra so I don't know how much I can get out of them. KrazyHorse, do you have any suggestions for good books on basic economics?

I've read a few of his posts (remember I lurked here for a long time before posting) and he seemed pretty smart, but I doubt reading forum posts will result in a particularly thorough education.
