Personally I like living in a high-density area.

Some people don't. Fair enough.

I like both for different reasons. It was phenomenal to live on top of a subway station, but I hated living so close to so many people who tempt me ever day to deck them.

After living there for three years I'm now craving living in remote wilderness in Alaska. Bear in mind I lived near High Park (eco hippies) and worked in the Fashion District (tight pants, neon sunglasses).
