There will be more new people after Civ5 comes out. It always works that way. When a new civ title is released we get a glut of new people but when there hasn't been a new civ release in years we get little new traffic.

The first time I came here this site was called 'Ultimate Civilization Site'.
Then there was an annoying gay site with an irritating background colour about CTP, which I hated.

I was drawn into the off-topic a little by two things:
a) Me and Imran defending a one-world government thread branching off from an on-topic government-type thread.

Vanilla Civ3 was awful and buggy. It got much better with the patches and expansions. I reinstalled C3C recently after news of Civ5 cropped up. (I can't find my Civ4 disk
).
