    IB diplomas are worthless. I went to a full-IB school. Don't listen to Ben.

    They're only useful if you're the son of a Westerner in a developing or middle-eastern nation and want a reasonably high quality education. In Canada, they just mean the people who signed on are nerds who like busywork. They don't learn anything special.

    Look at Ben, for example.

      Sour grapes. I didn't really want them anyways.

      I think it's hilarious that Asher with all his education still seems jealous of mine. Yeah, it's hard work. I really enjoyed it. I found it far more worthwhile than my time in university. You want busywork? They are the kings of busywork.

        I turned down full IB, just did CS IB out of interest. I knew IB was busywork, my friends went into it and regretted it.

        It's a simple fact: the kids in Canada who do full IB are stupid. There's no reason to do it. If they were smart, they'd realize it. Instead of doing full IB, I made a lot of money in my spare time (and developed my computer skills) by working on websites and software.

        My friends who did full IB make significantly less than me and are still socially awkward, thanks to the requirements of IB. I had more of a social life and came out ahead in terms of knowledge and know-how.

        You are a perfect example of why full IB is a joke.

          For the record, HC attends the same high school as I did, which has been repeatedly named the top high school in the United States by USN&WR.

                        The fact that you learned more in high school than in university has very little to do with either your high school or your university.
