    The Official Apolyton Off-Topic Rampant, Unfounded Supreme Court Speculation Thread

    Stevens, as expected, is retiring. Obama gets to fill a SC seat for the second time.

    I have no idea who it is going to be; I have no idea the political and philsophical considerations being taken; it really doesn't interest me that much, to be honest.


    However, simply for the entertainment value of seeing Hannity, Beck, and Limbaugh all spontaneously combust, I hope he nominates Bill Clinton.

    Wasn't Bill Clinton disbarred? He's ineligible. I can see LOTS of people combusting if someone who isn't a lawyer became a justice.

        Bill probably wouldn't be a that bad of a choice. Just like his presidency, you might think he leans to the left but in practice sways the other way.
        It's almost as if all his overconfident, absolutist assertions were spoonfed to him by a trusted website or subreddit. Sheeple
