My brother's wedding was very informal, but it is possible that I could be considered the best man there. At least, I did some of the things a best man would do.

        2 of my own.
2 for my brother... both as best man.
1 for my best friend. Best man in that one.
        1 for my sister.
1 for my ex-wife's current husband's previous marriage. Best man there also. (Sometimes I think I should be on Springer with my relationships)

Best man in one and groomsman in another.
I came upon a barroom full of bad Salon pictures in which men with hats on the backs of their heads were wolfing food from a counter. It was the institution of the "free lunch" I had struck. You paid for a drink and got as much as you wanted to eat. For something less than a rupee a day a man can feed himself sumptuously in San Francisco, even though he be a bankrupt. Remember this if ever you are stranded in these parts. ~ Rudyard Kipling, 1891

Countless, easily more than 5. Best man at 2.

A friend just asked me to be his best man last night. That'll be my fourth time being a best man. I don't have any siblings either, so all friends. Of those four friends/weddings one was Catholic, one was Protestant, one was Jewish, and now this guy is atheist.

Plus I was asked to be a groomsman in another friend's wedding, but they ended up breaking up before they got married.

Four times best man seems like a lot though, just wanted to see about y'all.

And I'm not counting your own wedding(s) Donegal.

I assume it will be in a park or something? Why not just a civil service? Or is it a civil service?
