But I'd rather start reacting now instead of waiting until after someone places a truck bomb under a daycare center in a Federal building.

I have to wait and see if people will actually commit acts of violence or property vandalism out of inspiration of Palin's latest garbage before I can really decide on whether or not the word "incitement" is appropriate.

So you want to wait to see if anyone is incited, basically. Fair, but why let it get to that point?

Isn't that the whole point of using the phrase 'incitement'? It's only ever used by liberals these days to shut down speech that they personally find offensive.

But whether this was a conscious decision on her part or not to egg on a demographic that is already hinging on extremism (and I'm NOT talking mainstream Republicans, fiscal conservatives, veterans, Bill O'Reilly, Christians, whoever else you may wrongly believe I hate), this is using violent rhetoric to advance her agenda.

And I believe, as is my right, that Sarah Palin is a part of this extremist element.

But did I ever say it should be banned? Not in the slightest. In fact, I'm against any form of censorship. Except SELF CENSORSHIP, which she could use a lesson on.

In the map with targets and gunsights, I didn't see a huge big deal there-- You are targetting districts after all.

If the gunsights had been over images of the reps, I would have found that extremely offensive.

I also don't like when they post anyone's home address as part of any of this . . That just seems wrong-- a politician shouldn't have to forfeit the abioity to have a private home life ( a naive worldview I guess)


Oh and the red gunsights are districts where the incumbent is retiring before the next election

Dude she was under investigation because she built her career in Alaska on reducing corruption. People were making sure she practiced what she preached. You'll note that she actually has never been indicted of anything (afaik).

Targets on the map are districts.

I would take reload as meaning to restock the cash to take on those districts. If you want to get pedantic about it, you only reload a gun after you have fired already. Since to my knowledge no one has actually fired a gun at any of the reps, but the republicans did take a shot at winning the district, the metaphor seems the better interpretation
