The main reason I wouldn't hire a lawyer is I know the law well enough to know that:
would never be ruled, and if it was, any idiot with a copy of the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms can strike that down in court.
ANYTHING the HRC/HRT can do is so small-time that it's not worth getting a lawyer over, unless you are trying to make a point (like Ezra, or other conservative bloggers).
The tribunal can issue an order constraining your future activities, like saying anything at all critical of Christians, even in private correspondence... for the rest of your life.
