That has not been my experience. I have seen all manner of folks slandering the Catholic church. Personally, I have found considerable comfort and fulfillment in the Catholic church. I don't think they have failed me and they certainly haven't failed others.

When I see quotes saying that their 'outreach' is threatened, this simply makes me suspect that this is calculated to try to hurt them, not to accurately report anything.

No, I believe that about half of the accusations are true, meaning about 1 percent of the priests have abused children, and need to be rooted out and exposed. I believe that as much as 90 percent of the abuse cases are restricted to America, due to the laxity of certain bishops.

I believe that significant damage has been done by the USCCB in covering up the priests, and that they need to be replaced by bishops from elsewhere, in parishes that haven't suffered from this damage. I believe that the Pope is slowing working on this through his appointments.

I would think the billions of $$ the RCC has had to pay out to victims and the constant stream of apologies they've had to issue is enough evidence that they failed their flock terribly. Unless you think they just rolled over for "false" claims, in which case they failed just as much, only in a different way.

Where have I defended the priests who have been proven to be responsible? I've only defended the ones who have done their job, the other 99 out of a hundred.

I'm not sure why you are arguing that because they settled the true claims that this makes the false claims any less false.

Question 2. Do you think that not a single priest was moved to a new parish after the church knew he had abused someone? Or do you think all those cases were made up and just blatant lies?

Couple things here. Ordination is like baptism. You just can't simply de-ordinate them just like you can't de-baptise someone. Yes, I believe that most, if not all the priests have been relocated. I expect that most, if not all of those relocated have been stripped of their other duties, such as teaching or having any contact with the parish.
