We have an article here that states abortion rates are higher in black women. Im sure I could rustle up a study or ten that points to decreased use of contraception amongst black men. So therefore there seems to be a correlation, in this instance, of decreased contraception use and increased abortion rates.Safer worlds through superior firepowerComment

Stay with me here. I would agree with you that pregnancy is more likely to happen without contraception. But abortion is more likely with the availability of contraception. Abortion is the 'fail-safe' for contraceptive failure.We have an article here that states abortion rates are higher in black women. One of the propositions on the Republican ballot in Texas is that doctors will be required to show an ultrasound picture of the fetus to the mother prior to any elective abortion.

I suppose you supported the initiatives calling for anyone purchasing a gun to see the statistics showing how much more likely they are to injure/kill themselves than defend against intrusion, and forcing all prosecutors trying for DP convictions to show the juries the number of faulty cases and overall costs to the state as well?I'm consitently stupid- Japher

A commonly misunderstood statistic. The reason guns are more often used accidentally or against someone is not because they are guns. That, of course, is absurd. It is because people do not seek training and practice or do not secure them properly especially around children; often, alcohol, intoxication or other risky behavior is involved . They figure if they buy a gun then Steven Segal and Chuck with clones could probably not take them down.
Among people with decent training, and who are not doing stupid crap, that statistic changes drastically. And you must include things other than intrusions. Your "used against them" stat is no more than "people often endanger themselves"... duh, in many ways.
