        Anyone using something from TNG for purposes other than pointing out how much TNG sucked has already lost the argument.

        And any man under the age of 50 claiming to find Dr. Crusher sexy is clearly a closeted homosexual.

              FWIW, it is an amazing story.

              Star Trek was so ahead of its time. It's on a level far more cerebral than Star Wars.

              Star Trek pioneered stuff like the first interracial kiss on television back in the 60s, while Star Wars was making caricatures of Asian people and Jews in movies in the late 90s.

                        Well, when it comes to sexyness, TNG is not exactly the right ST serie.
                        The only 3 female crew members I can think of are:
                        Dr Crusher, Deanna Troi, Tasha Yar.
                        Without Tasha Yar, the choice becomes very limited. And Deanna Troi is definitively one of the most un-sexy character of all female Star Trek crew members I can think of (yes, even Dr Pulaski or Cpt Janeway look more sexy to me). Only Guinan - not a crew member - is less sexy than Deanna Troy.

                        Sexyness in TNG comes from the special guests, like Ensign Ro or Vash, but certainly not from the official enterprise crew.
