It sounds like a lot, but I can actually see really well with my contact lenses in. Better than some people who don't wear corrective lenses, in fact. The sucky part is cleaning them by hand every night before bed. I think they make disposables in my prescription these days, but my vision is better with hard lenses....people like to cry a lot... - Pekka

yeah I'm in the glasses-since-a-little-child club as well...
but In my case it is quite interesting-- One of my parents has perfect vision, while the other needs glasses.
so, in a strange sort of way, I ended up with perfect vision in one eye. and not-so-perfect vision in the other. which means that I can't correct it with laser surgery.
which kinda sucks, but I mean at least I can see without my glasses.... I just see two of everything (I developed a Lazy eye b/c of my condition.Comment
