Your definition of conversation is as loose as Rah's of debate - first 5 pages are entirely trolls.

If there's anything worth a **** on pages 6-15 let me know.

On page 11 everybody spontaneously comes to the realization that 9/11 truthers aren't just conspiracy nutters, and that Bush et al were the masterminds behind the controlled demolition of the three towers. On page 12 everybody realizes that Obama was born in Kenya. On page 14 evolution is proven to be a lie.

With KH you are guaranteed a venomous smackdown whereas BK has the potential to make this into a real life Monty Python sketch.

Halflotus seems game so all we need is a suitable challenger.

Ok, I'll relax and hope someone with the desire shows up to make it a show.

Ah yes, the oft-cited and Hearst-owned Popular Mechanics' "Debunking 9/11 Myths" with forward written by our very own John McCain!

You should all read it, it really tugs at the heart strings before leading you down a path of emotionally manipulative propaganda.

A puzzling choice for exhibit "A" - or do we curse dear John's inept Senator-ship while embracing his literary rabble? Very well.

Besides caressing such obvious disinfo as 'pod theories', PM ignores and misrepresents most of the evidence pointing toward controlled demolition. In their defense, the article was published prior to Steven E. Jones' investigation into thermite, which is a linchpin in the demolition theory.

The PM editors indulge in blatantly biased color symbolism as well. Demolition theory segments are headed with a big red: CLAIM, and the 'official' theory segements headed with a big green: FACT. What is an emotionally driven reader to think? What would John think?

I give due consideration to establishment rags - Hearst receives substantial advertising revenue from military and defense contractors. But if you're genuinely swayed by it (ooh, the colors!), the PM "analysis" is answered here and here.

I can't wait until KH or Ben gets here

Truther bashing is awesome regardless! Popular Mechanics is a hack publication, what next? I can hardly wait!

Amusing as it would be, I don't know why BK would post in a thread that isn't about sex or Obama or sex with Obama.

Did you just make that up, or are you just parroting some propaganda

Yes, Hearst in a big media company. They own many local market radio and TV station, They also own about 15 newspapers, about the same number of business trade publications plus some web sites. NONE of which get much advertising from the military or defense contractors.

And look at the titles of the the consumer magazines they publish:

                            Cosmopolitan
                            Country Living
                            Esquire
                            Food Network Magazine
                            Good Housekeeping
                            House Beautiful
                            Harper's Bazaar
                            Marie Claire
                            O, The Oprah Magazine
                            Popular Mechanics
                            Redbook
                            Seventeen
                            SmartMoney
                            Town&Country
                            Veranda

Defense and military advertising represents one of their smallest and almost insignificant categories.

If you want to claim that the ownership is conservative and part of the conspiracy, that's one thing, but to think that they are biased based on advertising revenue from a category that means nothing to them.... That's just pure BS. So if that's your Proof... HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAAHA!

NOTE: For the record, I recommended/bought media for one of the largest defense contractors in the USA for over 18 years, and have a hard time remembering even one time that I recommended buying ads in a Hearst property.
