True enough... he just ignores reality and makes stuff up.

I think the best proof is the target selection.

              TERRORISTS...
Let's make a statement and attack the financial heart of America, and hit their military... sure, we could kill more people by hitting something like a packed sports arena or convention center, but the symbolism is more important. We will stike a blow the world will remember.

              GOVERNMENT...
Let's create a "traumatic event" that will trigger the reactions we need to carry out our master plan.
Let's do everything we can to minimize the financial impact and military impact, but target an Icon and cause as many deaths as posssible to get people really psyched up, and not get caught... So let's hit both the Twin Towers and the Pentagon...

              Yeah... right.
You make the call on which one is right.

                • I can agree with some of the points you guys make, but as for target selection, the WTC seems like a damn fine one for the intended purpose.

I have no clue how you can rule out conspiracy based solely on the target. Especially when there was at least one previous "terrorist" attack in the towers.

Economy is nearly a non-factor when you have the president reaching heroic status in terms of public perception following 9/11. And I think Bush Jr. knows a thing or two about taking office without winning elections.

As for insulting people who disagree, I shall say, "Pot meet kettle." Took you fellows 7 pages to start discussing 'facts' in a previous thread. This thread contains epic proportions of ad hominem as well. All the more reason to believe your viewpoints on the matter are emotionally driven, and not factually.

                  • Facts? And what facts do you have? A few experts say one thing, and many others say another. There is no real proof that a conspiracy occured. The facts tend to support that terrorists did the deed. So who is being the emotionally driven one here that is ignoring the real facts.

                      • TRUTH!!!

The collapse of the buildings makes perfect intuitive sense to me, and none of the arguments I've seen advanced by TRUTHers make nearly as much sense. Sure, I'm a liberal arts type, not an engineer of any kind, but then the vast majority of engineers are on the side of "yeah, the buildings collapsed as the result of being hit by huge airliners filled with jet fuel" not "the government set charges in the buildings, waited for the terrorists to hit with the planes, waited a few more hours, and then detonated the buildings so we could go fight a war in Afganistan, even though they really wanted to get Iraq..."

Generally, the various claims don't pass the laugh test. Che nailed that part. The Bush Administration - incompetant in any number of ways - pulls off the greatest false flag op in US history?

                            • What is telling is that you seem to be the only one here ignoring the real facts. And as far as me saying I agree with the majority of people, it has nothing to do with it being the majority, but in agreeing with the known facts.
The majority of people in the world agree that 2 + 2 = 4. Wouldn't you say that people who don't agree with the majority are morons

                              • How exactly does one plant explosives (not exactly a small undertaking in and of itself) in 2 buildings to bring them down in a controled demolition and a)keep such an undertaking hidden from the public and the employees who work in said building and b) do it in such away that the explosives aren't discovered before hand?
